The New York Survivors of Narcissists

Meet other local survivors of emotional abuse to share advice on surviving and coping. Focus will be on sharing stories and healing strategies for WOMEN who are in or out of a relationship with someone who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) or Anti-Social Personality Disorder/Sociopaths/ Psychopaths. We will also attempt to educate one another, and share articles, research and theories on the topic. If you have been emotionally abused or lied to by a partner, they may very well be narcissists. The pain of loving/missing/longi ng for someone, meanwhile hating them for the way they abused you can often feel like an emotional rollercoaster ride- it is all consuming. The realization that you "meant nothing" to this person, while "loving" them, can be intolerable. You may feel overwhelmed, confused, blame yourself, and be afraid that you will only attract (or be attracted to) narcissistic men into your life, especially if you have a pattern on these "relationships".
